Vorgartenstraße (Vienna U-Bahn)

The underground station Vorgartenstraße the Vienna U -Bahn line U1 in the 2nd district of Vienna, Leopoldstadt was opened on 3rd September 1982. It is located directly under the Lassallestraße and extends between Radingerstraße and Vorgartenstraße. It is named after the 1903 named Vorgartenstraße whose mostly late founder temporal houses usually have a Vienna otherwise untypical front yard.

Of the two side platforms outputs lead by means of fixed stairs into town on the Radingerstraße, where there are also elevators. Out of town, the outputs also via fixed staircase to Lassallestraße height Vorgartenstraße. Here it is possible to bus routes 11A towards Heiligenstadt or stadium and to upgrade 11B towards Friedrich- Engels-Platz or Hiller Street Station. Furthermore, the shipping center can be reached at Handelskai. The station is equipped with a public toilet facility. Very close to the railway station is the Vorgartenmarkt and Mexikoplatz.
