Võrnu is a village (Estonian küla ) in the rural community Mäetaguse ( Mäetaguse vald ). It is located in Ida -Viru county (East Wierland ) in northeastern Estonia.

Description and History

The village has 58 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011).

The place was first mentioned in documents in 1241. In 1788, the first school in the village was founded.

Attraction of the village is a large boulder. It has a width of 4.2 m, a length of 5.6 m. Its height is 2.9 m.
