Vorwerk, Lower Saxony
Vorwerk is a municipality in the district of Rotenburg in Tarmstedt (Wümme ) in Lower Saxony. It consists of three parts Vorwerk, Buchholz and Dipshorn that were independent municipalities to incorporation.

Geography
The town in the Elbe -Weser Triangle is located in the west of the district of Rotenburg ( Wümme) on the border of the districts of Easter Wood (Northwest) and Verden (southwest). The county town of Rotenburg ( Wümme) is located east-southeast, west-southwest is Bremen.
Coming from the northeast the federal highway of the municipality border is 1 south-east to south-west, where it meets at the Bremer junction on the motorway 27.
History
Incorporations
On March 1, 1974, the communities of beech wood and Dipshorn were incorporated.

Parish council
Since the local elections on 10 September 2006, the municipal council is composed as follows:
- WG Dipshorn: 2 councilors
- WG Buchholz: 5 councilors
- WG Vorwerk: 4 councilors
Mayor
Mayor is from Vorwerk since 2011 Thomas Müller. His predecessor, Ernst-August Seeger from the district Dipshorn was mayor since 1996. Meanwhile predecessor Hinrich Warjes was from 1948 to 1972 mayor of the then independent municipality Dipshorn and then from 1972 to 1996 the municipality of Vorwerk and thus one of the reigning longest community leaders in Germany.

Attractions
Findling ( Vorwerk )
The granite stone boulder, which is next to the belfry in the middle Barbican, weighs about 33 tons.
Ilexhain (Buchholz )
In Buchholz is a large Ilexhain, which includes about 30 trees.
Kratteichen (Buchholz )
At the picturesque wooden mountain are the famous Kratteichen.
