In Estonia, they were never used.

History

The Locomotive Park Eesti Vabariigi Raudtee (EVR ) sat down after the country's independence in 1919 largely composed of underwritten Russian locomotives. It was not until 1938, the first new locomotives for the broad gauge used in Estonia were procured, initially at the local Maschinenfabrik Krull in Tallinn. 1939 62 Deutsche Reichsbahn were ordered four tank engines at Henschel in Kassel to the model of the series, which should get the series designation Kk2. The EVR originally planned procurement of ten machines, but they could not fund.

The locomotives were completed in the fall of 1939. Given the meantime started World War II delivery to the EVR was prohibited. By the summer of 1941, the locomotives were at Henschel in Kassel. They were brought to the attack on the Soviet Union after Latvia and there by the railroad on the route Liepaja - used Krustpils to this - - Jelgava, as well as almost all other routes in the conquered by the Wehrmacht areas of the Soviet Union and the Baltic states - the European standard gauge was converted nails.

After gauging the Reichsbahn had no more use for the locomotives, they sold it in 1942, therefore, to the Finnish State Railways VR. This converted the originally equipped for oil burning locomotives initially on wood firing order, as was customary in many Finnish steam locomotives. In the years 1947-1952 the VR had a total of 10 of their steam locomotives to oil firing remodel, this involved all four locomotives of the series Pr2.

Until the early 1970s, the locomotives were retired, the locomotive with the Finnish number 1800 has been preserved as museum locomotives in Haapamäki.
