The National Park Vũ Quang ( vietn. Vuon Quốc gia Vũ Quang ) is in the northwest of Vietnam is mainly known for the Vu Quang antelope and the Riesenmuntjak were discovered in the area in the 1990s. Both species were previously unknown to science and one could hardly expect the discovery of so large mammal species. The park covers an area of ​​559 square kilometers and includes altitudes between 30 m and 2286 m. In addition to rare mammals, the area is characterized by a very diverse bird life. A total of 273 bird species live in the park. Among the mammals are found next to the Vu Quang antelope and Asian elephants, Gaure, rhesus monkeys, Bärenmakaken, redshank Dresses monkeys and Seraue.

In the park two research stations to combat forest deforestation are set up.
