Vully -les -Lacs is since July 1, 2011, a municipality in the canton of Vaud in Switzerland.

Vully -les -Lacs was created on 1 July 2011 from the now former municipalities of Bellerive (VD), Chabrey, Constantine, Montmagny, Mur (VD), Vallamand and Villars- le -Grand. The municipality is located in the village Salaveaux belonging to Bellerive

Originally Cudrefin was also provided as a fusion partner. This project was rejected by the voters of the municipality Cudrefin. 2005 were named in a preliminary study only Bellerive, Constantine, Montmagny and Vallamand as possible merger partners.

Until 1811, the southeastern slope of the Mount Vully located communities Bellerive, Constantine and Montmagny already formed a large community.

The community name derives again from Mont Vully from where the municipality is located, and on the other says " les -Lacs " that the church is situated on two lakes: Lake Neuchâtel in the north- west and - to a much longer shoreline - Lake Murten in the east. Through the village flows the Broye, which opens here in Lake Murten.

Neighboring municipalities are in the north Cudrefin, in the east Haut-Vully in the canton of Fribourg, in the south of Avenches, in the southwest of Saint- Aubin and west Delley-.
