Vurnon Anita ( born April 4, 1989 in Willemstad, Curaçao) is a Dutch football player. He comes from Willemstad, the capital of the former Netherlands Antilles. Since the summer of 2012, the midfielder is in the squad of Newcastle United.

Vurnon Anita was born on Curaçao and came even as a toddler with his parents in the Netherlands, where he began in Maarssen in the local football club to play soccer.
