Vyacheslav Ionov

Vyacheslav Nikolayevich Ionow, Russian Вячеслав Николаевич Ионов, ( born June 26, 1940 in Moscow, † 25 June 2012) was a Soviet canoeist. At the Summer Olympics in Tokyo in 1964, he was next to Nikolai Tschuschikow, Anatoli Grishin and Volodymyr Morosowzur victorious Soviet team of four kayak over the 1,000 m distance.

In the Canoe World Championships in 1966 in East Berlin, he was with the same cast world champion over the 10,000 m distance.
