Výstaviště Praha

Vıstaviště Praha is an exhibition site, which lies on the line C in the seventh district of Prague not far from the station Holešovice the Prague Metro. History

The exhibition grounds in Holešovice originated in 1891 at the Prague Jubilee Exhibition of 1891 ( Jubilejní Zemská výstava ), from whose occasion also the observation tower Petrin, the Petrin funicular, the Letna funicular and finally with Electric Railways of Belvedere and the first electrified railway in the Czech lands emerged. Fire

On the evening of 16 October 2008 broke the left wing of Průmyslový palác a fire out. The part of the building was completely destroyed by the flames.
