Vytina (Greek Βυτίνα ( f sg ), also transcribed Vitina ) is a village in the highlands of Arcadia in the Peloponnese in Greece with about 800 inhabitants ( 2001).
At the same time made it with some surrounding villages from 1997 to 2010 an independent municipality, which merged on 1 January 2011 in the newly created municipality Gortynia, where she has since formed a district.
In Vytina there is the art hotel Menalon. The owner of an Athens gallery exhibits at this hotel from some of its exhibits. Vytina is a popular weekend destination for Athenians.
In eight kilometers away, on a rock, the nuns monastery of Panagia is Kernitsis.
