Wabasca River is a right tributary of the Peace River in northern Alberta, Canada.

The catchment area of the river is 36.3 thousand km ². The mean annual runoff varies greatly from year to year. At the level Wadlin Lake Road, an average of 93 m³ / s were measured over a period of 30 years.

The Wabasca River has its origin in Sandy Lake, northeast of Slave Lake. From there it flows in a northwesterly direction.
