Wadden Sea Agreement

The Agreement on the Conservation of Seals in the Wadden Sea ( Agreement on the Conservation of Seals in the Wadden Sea ) is a multilateral environmental agreements based on the Bonn Convention. The agreement was the first regional agreements within the Bonn Convention. It was signed on 16 October 1990 and came into force on 1 October 1991. Other regional agreements have been adopted according to the same pattern. The Agreement aims to ensure the preservation of the population of harbor seals in the Wadden Sea.

Signatory countries are Denmark, Germany and the Netherlands.
