Geography
Wadgassen is situated in the valley of Have, a left-side tributary of the Saar, on the northern edge of the Warndt region and thus in the southwestern part of the Saarland. The nearest towns are Saarlouis 7.7 miles and Völklingen 6 km.
History
First documented finds indicate the area of today's large community Wadgassen than a Frankish royal court, which probably arose after the migration period. Leisure Activities
