There are the districts Habersdorf, Kolmberg, Upper Ried, Waffenbrunn and Rhanwalting. The districts Habersdorf and Rhanwalting be shared with neighboring communities Weiding and Pemfling.
History
Waffenbrunn belonged to the lords of Paur. The village was part of the Electorate of Bavaria and formed a closed Hofmark whose seat was Waffenbrunn. see also Postal Darstein, Postal Kolmberg, Postal Ödschloss
Incorporations
On 1 January 1972 Oberried and parts of the municipalities Habersdorf and Rhanwalting were incorporated. On July 1, 1972 Kollnberg followed.

The municipal tax revenue amounted to the equivalent of 513 k € in 1999, which amounted to the trade tax revenues ( net) converted 33 T €.
Coat of arms
Blazon: Split; front in blue on silver ground a silver Cross with golden wings, holding a silver lily stalk; rear split of silver and red, front, a red bar. The emblem has been used since 1974.

Economy, agriculture and forestry
It was in 1998 according to official statistics in the manufacturing sector and 50 in the area of trade and transport any social insurance contributions at the workplace. Social insurance contributions at residence, there were a total of 718 in the manufacturing sector, there were none, in the construction of three plants. In addition, in 1999, there were 61 farms with an agricultural area of 805 ha, of which 383 ha of arable land and 422 ha of permanent grassland.
