Waffle House

Waffle House ( dt = Waffle House ) is an American restaurant chain that sells waffles with various fillings. The company is headquartered Norcross (Georgia ).

History

The company was founded in 1955 by Joe Rogers, Sr. and Tom Forkner and both initially opened a small store in Avondale Estates, Georgia, to sample the neighborhood with waffles. By the time they opened more restaurants here and there. Waffle House has 1700 stores in 25 states of the USA ( 2014). 2005 celebrated the two founders together with its approximately 30,000 employees, the 50 - year anniversary.
