Waigolshausen is located in the Main - Rhön.

  • Dächheim
  • Hergolshausen
  • Theilheim
  • Waigolshausen

There are the districts Hergolshausen (about 600 inhabitants), Theilheim (about 750 inhabitants) and Waigolshausen (approx. 1,550 inhabitants).

History

The first documentary mention as " Witoldeshusen " is the Wildbann award of the Emperor Henry the Bishop of Würzburg Adalbero of Lambach be taken on June 22, 1060. Since 2006 in Waigolshausen annually held a St. Patrick 's Day Parade.

Every year at Pentecost, the linden blossom festival at the Musikverein in the center instead.

Economy, agriculture and forestry
