Wakendorf I
Wakendorf I is a municipality in the district of Segeberg in Schleswig-Holstein. The term Wakendorf I was introduced to the Prussian era to distinguish the town a 20 kilometers southwest away another municipality in the district called Wakendorf.
Geography and transport
Wakendorf located about nine kilometers south-southeast of the county town of Bad Segeberg and about six kilometers north of Bad Oldesloe near the Trave. It has a small station of the railway line Neumünster - Bad Oldesloe.
History
