Forest Home is an Austrian / German youth and history TV series from the year 1983. The focus is on the youth of the writer Peter Roseggerhaus.

Content

The forest farm Roseggerhaus family is a little off, this only rarely comes by someone. The stories deal with the former superstition and little rascals. Even the recently built railway over the Semmering plays a role. The whole thing is told in cheerful and contemplative way.

Background

The series was broadcast on 27 December 1983, at ZDF - evening program. Pre- sent the ZDF on Christmas Eve in 1983 in the main evening program a 90 -minute pilot episode titled The Waldbauernbub. In it Peter Roseggerhaus remembered as a young man to Christmas of his childhood, which is represented in individual episodes. Among other things, the story is when I went to get Christmas Tags joys shown therein.

Guest actor

In the series, many well-known Austrian and German actor worked with, among others, Heinz Petters, Fritz Muliar, Jane Tilden, Franz Josef Meinrad and Muxeneder.

Location

The film was shot in the woods home in Styria, but not directly in the courtyard of Roseggers, but at a neighboring farm.
