Waleran IV, Duke of Limburg

Walram V. († October 14, 1279 ) was from 1247 to 1279 Duke of Limburg.

As the last of his tribe Walram reigned from 1247 to 1279, the Duchy of Limburg, which was passed after the death of his father Henry IV at Walram. Walrams older brother Adolf, Count of Berg.

In his first marriage was Walram with Jutta von Kleve (actually Judith ) married. With her he had a son who died before or with his mother, and a daughter, Ermengard ( Irmgard ), who married Rainald I, Count of funds.

After Jutta's death in 1273 Walram married Cunegonde of Brandenburg, daughter of Otto III. of Brandenburg. The marriage was arranged by Siegfried of Westerburg, Archbishop of Cologne.

After his death, the Limburg Succession dispute broke out.
