Wally Szczerbiak Walter Szczerbiaks father was a professional basketball player for the Pittsburgh Condors, and later for Real Madrid. He is regarded as one of the 50 most influential basketball player in Europe of all time.

High School

NBA

Minnesota

When NBA Draft 1999, he was pulled in 6th place of the Minnesota Timberwolves. In his rookie season he scored 11.6 points, 3.7 rebounds and 2.8 assists per game. He was All- Rookie First elected to the NBA team, and was allowed to participate in the NBA Rookie Challenge 2000 in Oakland. In this role he was able to contribute 13 points.

A year later, he was a sophomore at the event in Washington, DC there. This time he scored 27 points and 8 rebounds, which earned him the title of MVP.
