Walter Alejandro Gargano Guevara (born 23 July 1984 Paysandú ) is an Uruguayan football player who is under contract with the Italian club Napoli since the summer of 2007, but is currently playing on loan at Parma.

Walter Gargano began at the age of three years playing football at the now defunct club Centella in Paysandú. In his youth he was already in the midfield to use.
