Wálter Guevara
Wálter Guevara Arze ( born March 11, 1912 in Ayopaya, Cochabamba, † June 20, 1996 in La Paz ) was a Bolivian lawyer and politician.
Life
He was co-founder in 1941 of the Movimiento Nacionalista Revolucionario (MNR ) and was in the following years, several times a deputy and senator. He was ambassador to France, and Venezuela to the United Nations and served in various departments as ministers, including as Minister of the Interior.
From August 8, 1979 to November 1, 1979, he was the Bolivian president.
