Walter Vesti

Walter Vesti ( born March 6, 1950 in Davos ) is a retired Swiss ski racer.

His biggest success was the 1975 victory at the World Cup downhill in Megève. Overall Vesti was in the World Cup three times on the podium and scored 14 placings in the top ten ( 13 times in the downhill, 1 time in the combination ). At the World Championships 1974 in St. Moritz, he finished ninth of departure, four years later at the World Championships in Garmisch -Partenkirchen eighth. He also won in 1977 and 1978 when Parsenn Derby in Davos / Klosters.
