Walther (crater)

The lunar crater Walther is an ancient impact crater in the southern highlands of the Moon. The western edge touches the crater Deslandres. To the northeast lies the Aliacensis and southwest of the irregular crater Nonius.

The rim is eroded by many small impacts. Also, the crater floor was remodeled by subsequent Impakten. In the northwest quadrant is a central mountain that was superimposed by smaller impacts.
