Wanda Bieler

Wanda Bieler (* July 7, 1959 in Gressoney ) is a former Italian alpine skier. She is the younger sister of Skirennläufers Franco Bieler.

Bieler won in January 1976 as a 16 -year-old in the departure of Bad Gastein with a 5th place their first points in the World Cup. Rate this place they equaled 1978 Slalom Piancavallo. Your best season realized Bieler 1980/81, when she finished 17th in the overall World Cup. This is due to a number of good placings in the slalom and giant slalom. A 3rd place in the giant slalom in Aspen behind Tamara McKinney and Erika Hess motioned for her best World Cup result. End of the 1981/82 season she stepped back.

Bieler 1977 European Junior Champion in slalom, the same year Italian champion in the downhill and 1981 Italian champion in giant slalom.
