Wandelweiser

The edition Wandelweiser organized a publisher and label for experimental music based in Haan and as a limited company. In addition, there is an international group of artists. Managing Director is the Dutch composer Antoine flexors.

History

The association was founded in 1992 by Antoine flexors and Burkhard Schlothauer. This was followed by the Swiss clarinetist Jürg Frey, the American guitarist Michael Pisaro, the Swiss pianist Manfred Werder, trombonist Radu Malfatti, the Austrian and the American trombonist Craig Shepard. Orientation figure is John Cage.

More than 50 CDs were released.
