Wang Noi District
Amphoe Wang Noi ( Thai: วังน้อย ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) of Ayutthaya province. The Ayutthaya Province located in the central region of Thailand.
Geography
Wang Noi is located about 50 kilometers north of the capital Bangkok in the southeastern province of Ayutthaya.
Neighboring districts are ( from east clockwise) Nong Khae in Amphoe of Saraburi province, the Amphoe Nong Suea and Khlong Luan in Pathum Thani province and the Amphoe Bang Pa-In and Uthai in Ayutthaya province.
History
Today's Wang Noi district was separated in 1907 by Uthai. First, he was named Uthai Noi ( อุทัย น้อย ), but in 1917 he got his current name Wang Noi.
Management
Amphoe Wang Noi ( tambon) divided into ten municipalities, which in turn in 68 village communities ( Muban ) are divided.
Lam Ta Sao is also the name of a small town ( thesaban tambon) in the district, consisting of parts of the tambon Bo Ta Lo, Lam Sai and Chamaep and the whole tambon Lam Ta Sao.
There are also nine administrative organizations ( " Tambon Administrative Organizations" - TAO, Thai: องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล ).
