Wang Qishan

Wang Qishan (Chinese王岐山, Pinyin Wang Qishan; * July 1948 in Tianzhen ( Shanxi Province ) ) is a Chinese communist politician.

Career

From April 2003 to November 2007 was Mayor of Beijing Wang Qishan. Qishan is a member of the State Council of the People's Republic of China since 2007, member of the Political Bureau of the Communist Party of China and since 2008 as Deputy Prime Minister. Since November 2012, he is member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo.

After working as a director of China Construction Bank from 1994 to 1997 and the provinces of Guangdong and Hainan Wang was 2003-2007 Mayor of Beijing.
