Wang Sam Mo District
Amphoe Wang Sam Mo ( Thai: อำเภอ วังสามหมอ ) is a district ( Amphoe - administrative district ) in the southeastern province of Udon Thani. The Udon Thani Province is located in the northwestern part of Northeast Thailand, Isaan.
Geography
Neighbouring districts (from west clockwise) are the Amphoe Si That and Chai Wan in the province of Udon Thani, Amphoe the Waritchaphum, Nikhom Nam Un and Bak Kut province of Sakon Nakhon and Amphoe Kham Muang, Sam Chai, Nong Kung Si, Tha Khantho the province of Kalasin.
History
Wang Sam Mo was born on October 1, 1975 initially as a sub-district ( King Amphoe ) was established by out solved the three tambon Nong Kung Thap Ma, Ba Yao and Nong Ya Sai from Amphoe Si deed. Then took place on July 13, 1981 VIP Level upgrade to a full Amphoe ..
Management
Amphoe Wang Sam Mo is in 6 communes ( tambon) organized, in turn into 68 villages ( Muban ) are divided.
There are four small towns ( thesaban tambon) in the district:
- Wang Sam Mo ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล วังสามหมอ ), consisting of parts of the tambon Wang Sam Mo,
- Lamphan Chat ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ลำ พัน ชาด ), consisting of other parts of the tambon Wang Sam Mo,
- Phasuk ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล ผาสุก ), consisting of the whole tambon Phasuk,
- Nong Ya Sai ( Thai: เทศบาล ตำบล หนอง หญ้า ไซ ), consisting of the whole tambon Nong Ya Sai.
In addition, there are three " Tambon Administrative Organizations" (TAO, องค์การ บริหาร ส่วน ตำบล - administrative organizations) in the district.
