Wanganui Chronicle

The Wanganui Chronicle is New Zealand's oldest regional appearing daily. The newspaper has its local editorial office in Wanganui.

History

The first edition of the Wanganui Chronicle was published on 18 September 1856. Initially in 14 days of publication, the Journal of cost at the time six pence per issue.
