Wanha Satama

Wanha Satama (Finnish for " old port ") is a district of Helsinki Strand Ausstellungezentrum in Helsinki and is used for various events such as trade shows, seminars and banquets. Wanha Satama is supervised by Helsingin Messut Oy, a subsidiary of the Finnish exhibition company, and has 27 employees.

Wanha Satama is located on the peninsula Katajanokka in its namesake district east of the city center of the Finnish capital. The building is a brick building from the 19th century. 1984, the transformation of the old port building had emerged by Heikkilä & Kauppinen as a result of an architectural competition. In the 90s, the port building was converted to the exhibition center. The central area has been completely glazed.
