WARC bands

As WARC bands three frequency ranges are referred to, have been reassigned to the 1979 World Administrative Radio Conference to the amateur radio service. They are referred to as 17- m band and a 30 meter volume due to their mean wavelength as a 12- meter band.

Due to their low bandwidth partly very narrow band modes are allowed and not allowed competitions.
