Wardyń Górny

Wardyn Gorny ( German name: Hohenwardin ) is a village in Pomerania, now located in the Polish West Pomeranian Voivodeship. It belongs to the Gmina Połczyn Zdrój (Bad Polzin ) in a circle Świdwin ( Schivelbein ).

Geographical location

Wardyn Dolny is located northwest of Połczyn Zdrój in seven kilometers away and is about the province road No. 152 Płoty ( Plathe ) Resko (rain forest ) Świdwin ( Schivelbein ) Buślary ( Buslar ) reachable. The villages Borucino ( Brosland ) and Dziwogóra ( Dewsberg ) are historically associated with Wardyn Gorny. The eastern boundary of the municipality until 1945, the city boundary to Bad Polzin. The nearest railway stations are Ludzicko Nowe ( New Lutzig ) and Połczyn Zdrój at the track Świdwin - Grzmiąca ( Gramenz ).

Ortskunde

Hohenwardin was an old Manteuffel cal fief. Already in 1704 Georg Friedrich von Manteuffel was named as the owner. An urn discovery in the field Hohenwardiner Mark from 1927 has a prehistoric creation time: Equipped with burial urns in a stone box.

In 1939 lived in the comprehensive 1033.8 hectares community Hohenwardin 424 inhabitants in 97 households. The field mark was then managed by three landowners and 23 peasant farms. Disposal of the products was carried out (Polish: Połczyn Zdrój ) on Bad Polzin, from where the supply of Hohenwardiner population took place.

Hohenwardin belonged until 1945 to the official and the civil registry district Buslar ( Buślary ) in the district Belgard ( Persante ). Mayor municipality Rachow and Chief Administrator Fritz Rakow were the last incumbent, as the registrar Erdmann. The local court was in Bad Polzin.

In March 1945, the occupation of the village was carried out by troops of the Red Army, and in the autumn of the same year began the expulsion of the indigenous population. Was Hohenwardin under the name Wardyn Górny a part of the Polish Gmina Połczyn Zdrój in powiat Świdwiński.

Church

Hohenwardin did not have a church, but the parish was in the parish Bad Polzin. It was in the church Belgard county (Polish: Białogard ) in the church of the Evangelical Church of Pomerania Old Prussian Union.

Today Wardyn Dolny is located in the parish of Koszalin ( Koszalin ) in the Diocese of Pomerania - Greater Poland the Evangelical-Augsburg Church in Poland.

School

Already in 1867 a one-class, maintained by the Gutsherrschaft elementary school is mentioned in Hohenwardin. Until 1927 here taught teachers Schröder, followed by teacher storm which was until 1945 the school holder.
