Course
The Warm Steinach, called in Bayreuth only Steinach, rises on the southern slope of the ox head in the Fichtel Mountains and flows through Warmensteinach, Sophienthal, pastures Mountain, Görschnitz, Untersteinach, Döhlau and the Bayreuth districts Friedrichsthal and Laineck where it empties into the Red Main.
History
George William of Brandenburg -Bayreuth was the Brandenburg lake in St. Georgen am See Creating and at the district Döhlau of mountain pastures derive the Döhlauer digging out the warm Steinach to feed him. On the Brandenburg also Weiher lake called you put in the 18th century naval vessels up to 18 meters length dar.
