Warp knitting

The jersey (French tricot to: tricoter " knit " ) is in the textile industry, the name given to a special fabric. Originally jersey fabric is made of worsted fabrics for suit and coat. Meanwhile, other materials can be used.

By tricot weave the fabric is elastic and stretchable. These chain deficiency is employed. Jersey may be longitudinal, transverse or diagonalgerippt.
