Warren Cole

Warren Cole ( born September 12, 1941 in Palmerston North ) is a New Zealand rower who won a gold medal at the 1968 Olympic Games in Mexico in the four with coxswain with Dick Joyce, Dudley Storey, Ross Collinge and Simon Dickie ( cox ). For this he was admitted Sports Hall of Fame in 1990 in New Zealand. At the Olympic Games in Munich in 1972, he finished sixth in the same discipline.

At the World Championships 1970 in Canada, he was with the New Zealand eight others.

In addition, he also won several times the New Zealand Championship:

  • Eight 1970, 1971 for Whakatane
  • 1973 for Waikato.
