Warren-Nationalpark

The Warren National Park (English Warren National Park ) is a 31 km ² national park located in southwestern Western Australia, Australia.

Location

The park is located about 300 km south of Perth, near the South Western Highway between Bunbury and Albany at the height of Pemberton. Just a few miles south is the much larger D' Entrecasteaux National Park.

Park

The Warren River flows through the park and forms with the old karri forest (Eucalyptus diversicolor ) - some trees there reach a height of up to 89 meters - the main attractions of the park. The Dave Evans Bicentennial Tree was similar to the Gloucester Tree or the Diamond Tree, used as a wooden observation platform from which to explore the forest fires in the dry season. Today, the public tree is accessible and can be climbed.
