Warwick (Queensland)

Warwick is a town with 12,500 inhabitants in the south of the Australian state of Queensland. It is located 160 km south-west of Brisbane and 85 kilometers south of Toowoomba on the Condamine River. The city is the administrative headquarters of the administrative area (LGA ) Southern Downs region. Both the New England Highway and the Cunningham Highway passing through the city.

History

The first Europeans who were the brothers George and Patrick Leslie settled in the area.
