Washington State Route 16
Route description
The State Route 16 begins at Interstate 5 in Tacoma ( exit 132, called Nalley Valley Interchange), leads thence in a northerly direction, crossing at the Tacoma Narrows Bridge 5.62 milestone on the Gig Harbor Peninsula. From Interstate 5 to Exit Gig Harbor Olympic Drive Northwest SR 16 provides a high- occupancy vehicle lane in both directions. The section between the exit of Union Avenue and Interstate 5 is currently in development. From Gig Harbor SR16 runs in the direction of Burley, Bethel and Port Orchard. The end point of SR16 is in Gorst, where SR 16 and Washington meet State Route 3.
