Washukanni

Waššukanni (also Waschschukanni, Waššugganni, Waschschugganni ) was one of two principal cities of the kingdom of Mitanni from 15 BC to the 13th century BC The city was in the source area of the river Khabur in today's Turkey or northern Syria, the exact location is however, not known. Anton Moortgat she suspected in Tell Fecheriye, one kilometer south of the present town Ra's al-' Ayn.
