The sting of the wasp is a 1957 published science fiction novel by Eric Frank Russell.

Content

Humanity is at war with aliens and forms of agents that are introduced to the planets of the enemy. Since the aliens as the people and their language has only a different color have many different dialects, which is not difficult.

At various stages describes how the wasp produces an overreaction of the authorities in a one-man guerrilla war with stitches. A few leaflets here and there, a few purchased with counterfeit money murders, and already a man is in the idea to a whole underground organization that keeps them busy for a whole apparatus, which may no longer worry about the defense of the planet itself.

Although the wasp always comes back in dangerous situations, the plan eventually goes on and people can conquer the planet.
