Reviews

  • The filmdienst about this movie: " The music of the punk band" The Ramones " backed film largely dispenses with stringent action and is limited to semi-documentary observations, which Larry Clark once again wants to put its proximity to the portraits of youth culture to the test. Without major directorial interventions and stage directions, young people tend to focus themselves, dar. their ghetto life and its little escapes "
  • Andreas Busche 's verdict: "You see ," Wassup Rockers " that Clark has followed no substantive concept that it always goes to him only sporadic moments of truth is also why you have him sometimes see his coarse follies Compared with Kids or Ken Park.. Wassup Rockers is an unpolished diamond in the rough. , but never was Clark closer to his characters. "
