Wat Intharawihan

Wat Intharawihan ( Thai: วัด อินทรวิหาร, different spelling: Wat Indrawihan, Wat Indhara Viharn ) is a Buddhist temple ( wat) in the Bangkok, capital of Thailand. He is a Royal Temple Class Three.

Location

Wat Intharawihan located in the northern part of the district Phra Nakhon today at the busy Thanon Wisut Kasat ( Wisut - Kasat Street), the eastern driveway to the Rama VIII bridge.

History

Wat Intharawihan has already been built in the late Ayutthaya period. He was first called " Wat Rai phrik " because he was surrounded by vegetable gardens.
