Attractions

The main attraction is the almost 600 year old chedi from the time of King Borommatrailokanat. It houses relics of the Buddha, but is in contrast to the Prang not accessible in Wat Phra Sri Rattana Mahathat in Phitsanulok.

The bot of Wat Ratchaburana has an unusual roof design: the eaves turns into a three-headed Naga. The nearby ancient shrine, a very beautiful Buddha image is in the Sukhothai style in the midst of red painted pillars, whose capitals lotus buds are modeled. In addition, the shrine is designed as an exhibition space and displays next to old coins and notes also musical instruments and glass objects. The walls are lined with graceful frescoes.

On the grounds of Wat Ratchaburana stands next to Sala, the assembly hall, also an old bell tower, Hor Rakhang, and erected a shrine in recent years, with a garden and six swan figures.
