Watan Group
The Watan Group is an Afghan group of companies, which offers telecommunications, logistics and security services. It is one of the Popal brothers, who are cousins of Afghan President Hamid Karzai. They were suspected by the U.S. authorities in heroin smuggling.
There are seven subsidiaries: AMP Trading, Ehsaan Construction, Navia Design, Sino - Afghan Steel, Watan Telecom, Watan Risk Management and Watan Oil & Gas.
The subsidiary Watan Risk Management accompanied NATO resupply on the route Kabul - Kandahar and shall on a regular basis complain dead.
