Watchman Iceland is a small sandstone island in the Waitemata Harbour of Auckland in New Zealand. It is located about one kilometer north of the suburb of Herne Bay. The island is owned by the Māori custom.

The island is easily visible from the Auckland Harbour Bridge. The island made in 2005 briefly made headlines when Adidas built a metal figure that dances a haka ( traditional Māori dance ). This was part of a promotional campaign by the All Blacks during the 2005 British and Irish Lions tour to New Zealand. Although Adidas has noted that the construction of the statue was denied, it was eventually overturned by a saboteur, which they saw as " culturally inappropriate".
