Water Polo Arena

The Water Polo Arena is a temporary water sports arena in London. It is located in the district of Stratford (London Borough of Newham ) in the southern part of the Olympic Park and offers 5,000 spectators.

Construction began in spring 2011 and was completed in May 2012. During the 2012 Olympic Games here the water polo tournaments in the men and women are discharged. In addition to a competition pool, the hall also includes a warm-up pool. The plant is connected to the neighboring Aquatics Centre, so that the premises ( for example, press and catering staff ) can be used cost-cutting together.
