Water polo at the 1932 Summer Olympics

In the X. 1932 Olympic Games in Los Angeles, a water polo tournament took place. Venue was the Swimming Stadium in Exposition Park.

The five participating teams played in a round robin tournament once each against all other teams. In the match against the Germans, the Brazilians fell by about a hard way to play negative. They felt disadvantaged by the Hungarian referee and attacked him after the match. To protect him, the police had to intervene. Then disqualified the FINA Brazilians and declared their games to be invalid.
