Water polo at the 1936 Summer Olympics

In the XI. 1936 Summer Olympics took place in Berlin a water polo tournament. Venue was the swimming stadium next to the Olympic Stadium.

In each case, the two best teams in the four preliminary round groups qualified for the second round, while the third and fourth place were eliminated. The two best teams from both groups the second round played for the places 1 to 4, the other for places 5 to 8 group matches included in the preliminary and intermediate rounds for each of the subsequent series.
