Watertown is a town in Litchfield County in the U.S. state of Connecticut, United States, with 22,300 inhabitants ( 2004).

History

Watertown was originally part of the Paugasuck Indians who sold the land in 1684 to Thomas Judd and 35 other owners. 1780 awarded city status, the legislature of Connecticut Watertown.
